Seating, sculpture and shelter commissioned for the Village College playground and social spaces, unifying the new pedestrian environment.
 
Overall the scheme aims to celebrate the growth of the school and the students within it yet also address their practical needs.  Linking in with ideas of continuity and change,seeds roots, beginnings, the design grows from circular circles in the floorscape to form a series of structures. As they mature they will weather and change.
 
Commissioned as a focal point for the 40th birthday celebrations and end of building phase 1, the site specific work has been developed alongside a workshop programme with year 11 students. The project heavily involved the PTA and volunteer help in its creation.
